They also don't know how to use siege towers and ladder men. PLITCH is an independent PC software with 60100+ cheats for 4300+ PC games, including 14 cheats for Stronghold - Warlords. It seems that they don't know how to use more castle defenses like gunpower stashes, tiger cages, barricades etc. They prioritize Warlords too much, and never mass proper attacks to siege the player. They purchase weapons which burns gold quickly. They build weapon workshops and other industrial resource buildings like iron and saltpeter very late. They lump in fast units with slow units. Unit aggression and AI path finding is horrible due to the fact they dont react to long range attacks and just keep moving in a specific path unless whatever is attacking them is close. They don't retreat their units if they are loosing in an attack or siege. If you do observe the AI, there are a few issues: Firefly did add a few good scripts for the AI, but there is still a lot to improve, I personally think that if an AI is to be considered good, they have to operate without any extra bonus. When they made the AI not cheat, they complain too. The last installment had an AI that cheated and people complained. Thing is you can never win this argument. So let them cheat and give us a challenge. Of course the best would be a well scripted ai, but I think we won´t see that in a stronghold game. Playing 1vs7 and the game drags on so long. Like the other said, 1vs4 (or if you want to play coop 2vs6) is a way too easy. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process. They have criminal punishment in freebuild, but no courthouse or torture chamber. Just rows and rows of axee makers, fletchers, rice fields, vegetables and pigs.īasically its like.your entire map is full of resource gen rather than cool buildings. I thought they gave you buffs, instead you fix their castle and have them send wood or stone, in one gold, leveli up they can send you iron - which i haven't even had to use yet. I think the first campaign is just a tutorial basically on how to maintain warlords. just finished the first campaign and its more like a wave mechanic there than actuall "building" troops from the ai yeah definitely waves and most of them didn't even do much except stand around but the squads weree roughly every idkl 3 min or so for one, 2 minutres for the other one.
